Yana - Mom and Minister

Hi  Friend

Hi I’m Yana – Mom and Minister. Children’s Minister to be exact.  I love God, my family and they mean the world to me. I also love people, especially children. A former teacher and later a children’s minister for more than 15 years.  I’ve also worked with the world’s largest children’s ministry organization Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF).

By no means am I an expert at being a mom and a ‘minister’, but as I live I learn.   Sharing my experiences with others has become part of my passion. My blog includes unique ideas for moms and helpful tips and ideas for ministers that though simple make a great impact.

It’s for moms like me and ministers like me.

You may agree that doing ministry when single or with no children is quite different and much easier.  With children, life changes and ministry becomes diverse. I have two beautiful children Ephraim now 5 and Hadassah 3.  When my husband Sharvon and I had them our lives changed forever and we love it.

I love to see lives changed and enjoy working with children, and adults making meaningful contributions to their development. As I worked as National Coordinator for CEF, I’ve been able to gain much wisdom and knowledge.  I have also worked with people from many countries and traveled to several countries, where I gained even more experience working and meeting people from different cultures and walks of life.

As  I became a mom life and ministry changed and I now minister to the two lovely children we are blessed to have as they grow, while still involved in ministry.

This blog shares some of those experiences and helpful ideas related to things I have done and tried, and been a part of and I hope will also be beneficial to you.

Dive in and let me know how you benefit from these posts.

God bless you!
