Jesus calls it the greatest commandment. Found in Mark 12:30 it says “And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.” (New King James Version.)
This is a great verse to teach your children. It’s like laying a good foundation for a house. And when it comes to foundations in our Christian walk the greatest commandment is a key ingredient to getting that foundation right.
What is included in this greatest commandment printable.
I have included three versions of the greatest commandment verse. So if you decide to use this printable craft you can choose from King James Version, English Standard Version, and New International Version.
Also, included is a blank template, just in case you prefer that the children write the words in themselves. This blank template is also perfect to use for another version. Older children usually appreciate the writing part of these activities.
